Dr DisRespect takes a dig at Twitch’s new policy by bringing a simulcast on YouTube and Facebook

Twitch rivalry started again by Dr DisRespect

Coming forward again with his outspoken nature, Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV who is better known as Dr DisRespect in the gaming and streaming community, indirectly criticized Twitch’s new policy by announcing that he is going to broadcast a stream on both YouTube and Facebook simultaneously.

One thing that all of his fans will agree upon is that Dr DisRespect speaks his mind and is never afraid of ridiculing his rivals such as the Amazon-owned platform ‘Twitch’. Even though fans have seen him mocking the platform time and again, this time he took things a little further.

The Two-Time streamer for whom age is just a number, Dr DisRespect has made a considerable fanbase on YouTube with over 500K concurrent viewership on his channel. His YouTube popularity skyrocketed when he officially joined the platform following his mysterious Twitch ban which is apparently a permanent one.

After the gamer’s decision to move to the Google-owned platform, several notable streamers seemed to have taken the same path that led to Twitch’s revenue falling drastically. While two years have passed since the ban, the platform recently laid out its new policy which allows its streamers to broadcast their stream on any platform, hence providing more flexibility.

This, however does not imply that streamers or content creators can stream on Twitch and some other platform simultaneously. This new policy is being regarded as a welcome change but not from Twitch’s former stars like Dr DisRespect, who did not leave his chance to mock the platform by announcing that he will stream simultaneously on both Facebook and YouTube.

"Simulcast Tomorrow. Gonna see if I can ignore chat on BOTH platforms..."

This simulcast has now been pushed to Friday as the prominent streamer claimed that he wants it ‘to be radical’. This is probably the first time that Dr DisRespect has planned something like this but it is clearly visible that he is mocking his rival platform by criticizing their new rules.

Prior to the simulcast, Dr DisRespect had called out YouTube Gaming for not being supportive enough to the content creator who has brought in a lot of viewership since his move on the platform.
