EA Sports FIFA 23 just revealed Donyell Malen as April’s Bundesliga Player of the Month (POTM). Even though he did not manage to end up in the Bundesliga Team of the Season TOTS, the pacey Borussia Dortmund winger was awarded the title for his excellent performances in April. His goals have kept the club in the hunt for its first Bundesliga title since 2010–2011.

With the season coming to a close in most of the major leagues across the world, EA has capitalized on the opportunity to announce the best players and an SBC. Furthermore, EA has already announced the English Premier League TOTS, the Dutch Eredivisie team of the season TOTS, and the Saudi Pro League team of the season TOTS.

The 2022–2023 Bundesliga has been a topsy-turvy ride for almost all of the teams in the league. Bayern Munich, the traditional heavyweights and serial winners of the coveted Bundesliga Shield, were shaky from the get-go. This allowed the likes of Dortmund and RB Leipzig to capitalize on the situation and create some distance from the Bavarian giants.

However, since the start of February, Dortmund can’t seem to keep it together and started dropping points. Malen wasn’t on form during this time, and his team suffered due to a lack of goals from its strikers.

In the meantime, Bayern managed to regain some form and take the lead back from Borussia. As the season draws to a close, Dortmund is playing catch-up. However, their amazing results in April, with the help of Malen, who scored 5 goals and 1 assist, have cut the lead short to just one point with two more games to go.

On May 10, EA Sports posted the nominees for April’s Bundesliga Player of the Month. Malen managed to fend off the likes of Time Werner and Moussa Diaby to clinch the title.

With that being said, here is how you can redeem the Donyell Malen Bundesliga Player of the Month (POTM) in FUT 23 mode by completing SBC (Squad Building Challenges). The reward for completing all the challenges is an 89-rated Donyell Malen player card.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 Player from the Bundesliga.
  • Minimum of 1 Player from Team of the Week (TOTW) or Team of the Season(TOTS)
  • Minimum Team Rating has to be 84
  • The number of players in the squad has to be 11
  • Players need to spend 38.000 FUT Coins

The last date to complete the Donyell Malen SBC is June 16, 2023. After meeting all the requirements you can add him to your Ultimate team.
