ESPL partners with Loco as their broadcast sponsor for Season 2 after putting up a massive prize pool!

ESPL, the Esports Premier League, has roped in Loco, one of India’s leading streaming platforms, as their exclusive digital streaming partner for season 2 of their tournament.

According the the partnership, all matches of the second season of the ESPL will be streamed exclusively on LOCO, both on their app and their website.

LOCO is a website/app that started off as a quiz app but has now become a streaming platform focused on gamers and gaming content creators looking for a place to stream their content.

Since January 2021, Loco has witnessed exponential growth with its daily active viewers becoming 15x the number, 5x times the active streamers, and 78x the live hours watched since the time.

ESPL will be having its grand finals as an Offline event for the first time ever and it will be streamed on Loco exclusively just like all the other matches that will be streamed.

ESPL Season 2

With TECNO Mobiles already sponsoring the second edition of the Franchise league. They aim to promote their upcoming phone TECNO Pova 3 through this league. Not only does the phone boast a high processing speed, but also a massive battery to last you long during those gaming sessions.

The ESPL will be hosted for one of the most popular mobile games in India, Battlegrounds Mobile India, which is an India-exclusive version of the ever popular PUBG Mobile that revolutionized eSports in India. The prize pool for the tournament is going to be a massive amount of INR 1 CRORE

Format of ESPL Season 2

The league will be played in two separate stages in the initial phase—online qualifiers and invitational qualifiers—to shortlist the top 16 teams. The first 12 teams, top-2 teams from the open qualifiers and top-10 teams from the invitational qualifiers, will progress directly into the finals.  

The teams ranked from 3 to 10 (7 teams) in the online qualifiers and teams ranked from 11 to 18 from invitational qualifiers will compete for the other two spots available in the finals. The upcoming edition of India’s premier esports league, ESPL has already kick-started their online qualifiers.
