“This movie gonna flop now” Fans are left heartbroken as Markiplier reveals he is not in the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy movie
Could this be a marketing stunt by Markiplier?
When you think of horror there are many things that pop up in your mind. When you’re thinking scary horror games, however, it most definitely has to be the legendary Five Nights at Freddy’s. The horror game is one of the classics of horror fiasco, as it has been around for a long time now, and in the hearts of many kids and teenagers who have vested interest in it over the years.
For a long time now, fans have been waiting for the highly-anticipated Five Nights at Freddy’s film that is planning to take over the theatres following its release. It has been confirmed to be released on October 27. With just under 10 days left, another highly anticipated moment has now gone ahead and been clarified, the role of Markiplier in the film.
Mark Edward Fischbach, better known as Markiplier, is known to be the “King of FNAF” for his vaguely popular videos on the horror game. It is hard to not think of Markiplier when Five Nights at Freddy’s is brought up. So much so that a surprise cameo appearance by him was speculated by fans for a long time, making fans even more excited for the movie’s release.
Markiplier confirms he won’t be in the FNAF movie
After all the excitement and speculation, Markiplier has recently gone ahead and confirmed sad news to his 35 million subscribed YouTube channel. The huge FNAF fan has broken all rumours. Despite his close association and connection to the brand itself, Markiplier has confirmed in his latest video that he won’t be appearing in the movie.
He said in his video, “But I wanted to say, unequivocally, unfortunately, that I’m not (in the movie), and I’ll explain why. I’ll explain why. I’ll explain. Actually, everyone freak out, everyone get your freak outs out of the way so that we can – just get it all out now. Just go, panic, scream at the top of your lungs, just gush gush gush gush”.
Fans react to Markiplier not appearing in FNAF
Despite clarifying that he had problems with scheduling time for filming his part in the movie, as the FNAF movie was scheduled at the same time as his own movie, Iron Lung, therefore causing issues in his schedule to make time for both. However many fans still believe that this is only a marketing stunt, citing comparisons to Andrew Garfield in the recent Spiderman movie.
