MrBeast gets revenge on IShowSpeed and slide tackles him in Sidemen Charity Match 2023!
Lo and behold, the long-awaited Sidemen Charity Match 2023 has finally taken place. The animosity, hype, challenges and promises all built up to this 21,000-packed sold-out crowd have all been worth the wait. The 13-goal thriller game was exactly how fans expected and a lot of surprises filled the arena. The final score came to 8-5, with Sidemen FC bringing home the victory.
The heat between Speed and MrBeast all began very early on in the game, with less than 2 minutes being passed, IShowSpeed made MrBeast his victim. Following Tobjizzle’s clean slide tackle, IShowSpeed followed in his footsteps. As the ball came to MrBeast from the goalkeeper, IShowSpeed ran towards him instantly. The 19-year-old stayed true to his name as he paced up to MrBeast and slide-tackled him, preventing him from getting possession of the ball. However later on he paid for it as MrBeast got his revenge.
Another amazing scene fans witnessed as KSI was tackled by IShowSpeed again. Despite KSI being the goalkeeper, IShowSpeed had somehow found a way to get through to him and take him down. As the ball was passed to KSI, he loured around instead of playing it, and there and then Speed paced up to him and threw himself to the ball before tackling him. The iconic event had lifted up the London Stadium, as Speed had promised to tackle him, following last year’s attempt, and had kept his promise evidently.
MrBeast tackles IShowSpeed and prevents him from scoring in the Sidemen Charity match
MrBeast was playing for Sidemen FC. Following the IShowSpeed tackle, it would all backfire later on during the 71st minute. The All-Stars FC were 2 goals down with the score being 6-4. As the ball was in the penalty box, Niko passed it to IShowSpeed. Speed who took control of it, attempted a Cryuff special, however, MrBeast was quick to shut it down with a clean slide tackle. No penalty was awarded, however, MrBeast immediately started celebrating afterwards as he both cleared the ball from the penalty zone and got his revenge on Speed.
MrBeast had not gotten any goals or assists. He however did make it clear in the very beginning before the match even began. He mentioned how he would hardly contribute to the match as he does not have the skills to do so, and was solely here for the fans and the charitable cause. IShowSpeed on the other hand, despite not scoring any goals, had a few cherishing moments. This includes the assists he provided to Niko Omilano.
Fans react to MrBeast slide tackling Speed and getting revenge
The amazing star-studded event exceeded expectations. The event had raised a whopping more than $3 million this time. Surpassing last year’s and all records, the Sidemen have once again contributed to a greater cause and with great entertainment. With the likes of KSI, IShowSpeed, JiDion and many others, this event had fans buzzing at every second of the game and garnered massive views and attention online.
