“We have your back Poki”: Fans react as Pokimane expresses gratitude to the fans defending her on social media

Twitch’s undefeated queen, Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys recently announced her comeback on the platform as soon as her new streaming room has been set up. Following this, the streamer took to Twitter to express her thankfulness to the fans who defends her regardless of the situation.

The popularity of notable Twitch or YouTube streamers often comes at a price as sometimes, they are subjected to unnecessary tolls and hatred. Twitch’s female star, has often found herself in such situations which has taken a negative impact on her career. In fact, this became one of the reasons for her Twitch break.

Pokimane appreciates her supportive fans after teasing her Twitch comeback

Female streamers like Pokimane have often been into the center of trolls and hatred on social media. The streamer has herself expressed how she is disappointed with the wrong usage of the term ‘simp’ as her male counterparts become unwilling to defend hear in the fear of being called a ‘simp’.

However, social media might not be filled with toxic fans only as the streamer recently expressed her elation over the support that she gets from her fans. The streamer has over 9.2 million followers on Twitch making her the second most followed female Twitch streamer after Amouranth but it seems like her popularity is only getting started.

Calling her fans as “the heroes we need”, the streamer expressed how some of her fans have defended her even if they do not obtain any popularity from that-

"they don’t do it for clout or notoriety, it’ll legit be the most obscure comment with no traction, and yet they’ll still inform someone kindly why they’re wrong. the heroes we need."

With the vast number of followers she has made during the course of her Twitch career, some viewers might have spread some misinformation on her but Pokimane has witnessed how another fan is quick to defend her and reveal the correct information. Her twitter post continued further-

“sometimes i’ll see a random misinformed or rude comment about me, and then I’ll see someone else clarify/defend me.. and god damn I f***ing love those people”

Fans have started pouring in their heartwarming reactions after accepting the gratitude shown by the streamer. Her post is being flooded with comments like, “Don’t worry Poki I always got your back” whereas other are claiming that it is quite necessary to point out the mistakes in a certain information so that false information does not spread out.

Pokimane had recently posted a picture of her hinting on her comeback after a span of one month, this had made fans go wild as everyone wished to know when they will be able to see her back in the streaming game. Although, she has not announced a date, fans can expect it to be within a couple of weeks.
