A Singaporean Twitch streamer is making headlines on Reddit after one of her live streams showed something hilarious yet disappointing. She was trying to trick her viewers into thinking someone was stealing her phone.

The live stream took place on February 20th when the streamer named KiaraaKitty was having an IRL stream at a library. As the stream progressed further, she kept her phone on the table and went somewhere. Moments later, as someone was taking away her phone, fans were convinced of a robbery.

The situation changed abruptly when the phone was dropped as the audience saw Kiaraakitty picking up her phone. They were quickly able to understand that she purposefully committed the robbery of her own phone so that she is able to gain exposure.

As soon as the Twitch streamer got exposed for this ‘deed’, fans were criticizing her. On her part, Kiaraakitty quickly shut down her whole stream and decided not to face the music at least today.

Cheng Wing Wee is an infamous streamer on Twitch. She goes by the online moniker ‘Kiaarakitty’ on the Amazon-owned streaming platform. Apparently, most of her live streams are considered to be provocative of her notoriety. It goes without saying that she has faced a ban on her channel several times.

She has had some controversial moments during her streaming career as she allegedly scammed 7 men on the platform. Additionally, a leaked document on Twitch revealed her massive earnings that caused a huge uproar in the Singaporean Twitch community.

Kiaraakitty is on the news once again for scandalous reasons. After recently getting unbanned, she tried to gain prominence by tricking her fans. This time her Twitch clip got featured at r/livestreamfails where users have been calling her a scammer.

One of the Redditors on LSF wrote that it won’t be long until Twitch streamers decide to fake swatting incidents during their live stream. This comes after there have been multiple swatting incidents lately

Kiaraakitty is yet to come online on the platform to address this issue. As for her account ban, the case seems unlikely as she hasn’t violated any community guidelines.
