The first Team of the Week for FIFA 23 will be announced next week!

FIFA 23 is almost here, and it cannot get here soon enough. The new game is highly anticipated by the fans and arrives in a couple of weeks. FIFA 23 is set to be released on September 30, and 3 days earlier on September 27 for those players who have early access to the game through the Ultimate Edition.

EA Sports has added plenty of new features to the game, which is part of the reason why it is so highly anticipated. There are several dimensions to the game that have never been seen before in any of the previous editions of FIFA launched by EA. The first Team of the Week (TOTW) items will be out next week, have a look below to know more details and who is eligible to receive 1 item from the TOTW.

First Team of the Week Items are Out in FIFA 23 on September 21!

FIFA 23 TOTW features In-Form items of players who have played well in the previous week. TOTW in the game essentially refers to a squad of in-form items with improved stats for players who have played well in real life the previous week. These players are recognized by EA for their performance and are drafted into the team of the week, for that specific week.

Items in Team of the Week vary in color depending on their quality.

  • Bronze if the rating is less than 65
  • Silver if the rating is between 65 and 74
  • Gold if rating is 74 or higher

Now that we know the matches from this weekend will involve players who can possibly make the Team of the Week on September 21, it makes the fixtures all the more enjoyable. Those people who pre-ordered FIFA 23 will be eligible to receive a player item from the first Team of the Week to be launched for the game. The Team of the Week item will be redeemable once the game is launched, which means for those players of the game that pre-ordered FIFA 23, will receive their TOTW 1 player item on September 27 instead of September 30, as they have a 3 day head start through early access.
