FIFA 23 Glitch Allows Players Access to the Game a Day Before Early Access
Players of FIFA 23 used a certain glitch to get a day's early access on September 26
FIFA 23’s official UK and worldwide release date is Friday 30th September 2022. But players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game will have access three days in advance, with the full game being playable starting Tuesday 27th September 2022. However, there is a glitch in the Early Access edition that allows it being accessible even one day before the early access launches.
Players who pre-ordered the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition can access the new game with the popular New Zealand glitch starting Monday, September 26, 2022. This is a trick used in previous FIFA titles to access the game a day earlier than its official launch in countries other than New Zealand. Have a look below to know more.

Xbox Players Can Use the Glitch to Access FIFA 23 from September 26
Ultimate Edition owners can get access to FIFA 23 one day before the Early Access launch on September 27th. This is made possible by the New Zealand glitch, a technique that worked in previous FIFA launches and is still available in the new game. To use take advantage of the New Zealand glitch, you must first pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game.
Also, you must be playing on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. This is because these consoles allow you to change the location from the settings menu. To get the one day additional Early Access, you will need to change your console location to a country in a different time zone (New Zealand). This way, your console will recognize that the date is already September 27th, 2022 and you will be able to unlock the full version of FIFA 23.
How to use the New Zealand glitch:
- Go to the Settings menu on Xbox
- Go to the System tab
- Select the Language & Location option
- Change location to New Zealand
- Restart your Xbox console
- Launch the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition from your game library
Following the instructions would result in you being able to access FIFA 23 when it launches in New Zealand, giving you an extra day to help in starting your new FIFA 23 Ultimate Team career with a bang. However, those players who made use of the glitch should have made sure to change their location back to what it was before by 11:30 PM BST on September 26 to avoid becoming region-locked when searching for matches in-game.
