Heung-Min Son could most likely be the first player to feature in TOTW 1 in FIFA 23

FIFA 23 is fast-approaching and we’re only around a couple of weeks away from its release. Fans are extremely hyped for the game and it couldn’t get here soon enough. The new game is scheduled for release on September 30, and 3 days earlier on September 27 for those who have early access to the game.

FIFA 23 has plenty of new features inducted in it, which is part of the reason why it so so highly anticipated. There are several dimensions to the game that have never been seen before in any of the previous editions of FIFA launched by EA. The first Team of the Week for the new game is set to be out next week, and Heung-Min Son could be the first name on the team sheet. Have a look below to know more.

Team of the Week in the game refers to players who have played really well for the week that the Team of the Week is prepared, and are therefore called In-Form players. These In-Form players are inducted in the Team of the Week (TOTW), with their TOTW cards being given upgrades to their base card stats.

We already knew that the matches of this weekend would be taken into consideration for the first Team of the Week to feature in FIFA 23. EA Sports will unveil the first TOTW on September 21. This weekend’s fixtures haven’t event been completed yet, and on the first day’s results we already have a strong contender to be featured in the first TOTW, Heung-Min Son.

Heung-Min Son had an amazing game yesterday, scoring a hat-trick for his team Tottenham and against Leicester City after coming on as a substitute. Son scored 3 goals in a span of 16 minutes, and proved his worthiness to his Manager, Antonio Conte that he is still worthy and should be one of the first names on the team’s starting 11.

Son could now be the first player to be added to the first Team of the Week for the new game following his jaw-dropping display yesterday. Players of FIFA 23 have something to look forward to now, knowing that Son is going to be inducted into the TOTW, which will have them hoping they are lucky enough to earn the TOTW Item of Heung-Min Son.
