FIFA 23: Winter Wildcards leaked to return to Ultimate Team
Winter Wildcards could soon be seen in FIFA 23
The famous Winter Wildcards promo, which was successfully introduced in FIFA 22, is rumored to return in FIFA 23, much to the delight of fans all around the world. The event will be distributed over the course of two weeks, as revealed by the legendary leak-based Twitter account, FUT Sheriff, and it will bring back the dual-squad premise of earlier Ultimate Team promos.
The World Cup is coming to an end, and FIFA 23 Ultimate Team’s celebrations will soon cease. This will mark the end of the World Cup-themed content that EA has been releasing over the past month. The community has been speculating a lot about what the upcoming promotion would be, and it has supposedly been revealed to be Winter Wildcards.
Fut Sheriff leaks Winter Wildcards to arrive soon in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team
According to sources, FIFA 23’s World Cup-themed promotion will end with the World Cup Team of the Tournament release, which will come after the current World Cup Phenoms promotion. Winter Wildcards, a popular event that was only recently introduced in FIFA 22, would then follow this event.
FUT veterans will be sad that the renowned FUTMAS event will not return to FIFA 23. On the bright side, Winter Wildcards is a fantastic event in its own right, with many gamers believing it to have been the best-executed promo of the previous year.
The December promotion known as Winter Wildcards is focused on Player SBCs, objectives, and an interesting Swaps concept. Similar to the FUTMAS event from earlier FIFA games, this promotion also offers a selection of special cards in packs in addition to the daily player SBCs.
The promo will be available starting on December 23, as FUT Sheriff announced on Twitter. It will likely adhere to other events’ release schedule in FIFA 23, starting at these times in different time zones:
- GMT: 6:00 PM
- PT: 10:00 AM
- ET: 1:00 PM
- IST: 11:30 PM
Along with rewarding the Swaps system and daily player SBCs, the promotion will also include a selection of improved special cards. The following names were some of the most well-known participants in the event last year:
- Neymar
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic
- Fabinho
- Paul Pogba
- Eden Hazard
- Raheem Sterling
- Luka Modric
