Fortnite AFK glitch grants millions of XPs to players in-game

In the past few days, Fortnite has made quite a huge blunder, firstly in terms of pack announcements, and later on about the inability of granting those promises. However, this time around, a major glitch has been noticed, where players going AFK are being rewarded with mllions of XP within the game. This is instead of the usual penalty, where going AFK usually affects the gameplay negatively.

This glitch within the game has allowed gamers to gain XP by completing minor quests in battle passes and then going AFK to receive huge rewards. Within this glitch itself, players can complete internal missions and quests to gain XP that they are using to complete the quests in and of themselves. This glitch has also been allowing players to level up unconditionally, without any form of backlash or impact within the game.

The developers are working to fix this glitch since it is making the game far easier than intended, leveling up easily appears to be some sort of a cheat code within the game, and completing the quests is granting all the rewards in-game. As it is, Epic Games have announced a few collaborations and this glitch needs to be fixed for players to stand any chance in those.

Fortnite has been moving towards a complex period, especially since its flagship event Fortnitemares 2022 was filled with several glitches of its own, at the end of which players were able to gain the pickaxe free instead of completing the quests. Epic games need to sort out these glitches really soon since this is causing major disruption within the community, and should not be carried over to Chapter 4 Season 1 next year.

What can fans expect from Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1?

Epic Games is known for its collaborations with larger-than-life organizations, and this time around, the second Season was the host to a series of collaborations with Marvel, introducing some of the fan-favorite skins and quest packs. At the onset, developers have teased a third collaboration with Stranger Things and an exclusive Pokemon Collaboration that has gotten fans excited about the new season soon to be out. Along with certain collaborations, this game will continue to be hosted on Unreal Engine 5.

In terms of the storyline, Fortnite is going with the clash between Geno and the Seven, where the current map Astimis would face severe destruction, compelling the players to migrate to a newer map. As is expected from Fortnite, this time once again there will be obvious changes to the map, along with new player skins and anti-heroes on the island. It will be interesting to find out how the players adapt to the new island in the upcoming new Fortnite season. However, before moving on to the new season, Fortnite developers need to sort out the majority of the glitches in-game.
