Fortnite brings Black Adam to Item Shop

Dwayne Johnson prominently known as ‘The Rock’ will soon make his comeback on Epic Game’s Fortnite, this time as ‘Black Adam’. Even though the news was revealed by renowned leaker ‘Shiina’, an official announcement was made moments later by the developers.

With many crossovers already lined up, either through leaks or rumors, the battle royale game is never short of surprises when it comes to adding crossover content on the game. Their latest update was heavily based on Marvel characters but the game quickly shifted to another universe by announcing a partnership with DC.

Players to get Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Black Adam’ skin in Fortnite

Fortnite’s Chapter 3 Season 4 commenced a month ago with Gwen’s skin being added to the game. The update named ‘Paradise’ has since added a lot of costumes for the players in the Item Shop with the recent being ‘X-23’ apart from bringing a few items back in the shop such as Marshmello’s bundles etc.

Keeping all this aside, players should now look forward on receiving Black Adam’s skin in Fortnite. The skin adorned on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will be added to the Item Shop on 20th October. Players should be ready with their V bucks if they are ardently waiting for this DC collaboration.

The price of Black Adam bundle is yet to be known, but players can expect it to shoot above 2000 V bucks as a lot of items such as emote, Harvesting tool, Back bling will be available in the pack apart from the exclusive outfit.

Fortnite is yet to reveal a gameplay trailer of the characters wearing Black Adam skin but it is expected to drop anytime soon today as it is rumored to premier on Twitch. Few leaked pictures of the skin’s first in-game look have been doing rounds in the social media and fans are extremely eager to get their hands on this skin.

This is the second time that Fortnite players are seeing Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the game as he initially appeared as ‘The Foundation’ member. Back then, he was crucial for the in-game lore but this time, it is unlikely that the Black Adam skin will have anything to do with the story.

Based on the DC comics character, Jaume Collet-Serra’s Black Adam will hit the theatres on October 21st globally with Dwayne Johnson playing the lead. Now that his skin has been announced, DC fans who play Fortnite couldn’t ask for anything better.
