Fortnite Players Can Become Invisible Through Glitch
Many new skins have arrived in the game
Fortnite players can make use of a glitch and become invisible in the game. Where there are pirate ships, there must be some cannons. Driftwood is one of the in-game locations found in Fortnite. These heavy-duty weapons from the Golden Age of Piracy are powerful, but not very effective in combat.
But that hasn’t stopped players from using them to take out opponents over the years. Cannons may be bulky, but they do enough damage to keep enemies fleeing. To make it even more interesting, a bug was discovered when players try to move the cannon too far. Have a look below to know more.
Fortnite Players Who Use Cannons Become Invisible
Spotted on Reddit by a user named SevinKpacy, this bug appears to allow users to gain the power of invisibility when cannons are removed from Driftwood. Affected players can certainly be eliminated in combat, but other players may find it difficult to attack something they can’t see. The glitch allowed the player to reach the final zone of the game and still remain invisible.
In most glitches this season, developers disabled certain features/mechanisms due to coding and feature complexity. The latest example of this is the disabling of the “blob” mechanic in competitive mode shortly after it was discovered that it grants players god-like immortality. Many players have been trying to make use of the glitch.

In this case, the artillery was not disabled, but its mobility was reduced. Players can no longer walk around the map while pushing the cannon in Fortnite. You can change the direction of the viewpoint and shoot only from a stationary position. Here’s what the leaker iFireMonkey had to say, “The Pirate Cannon can still be used, however it can no longer be pushed or moved. This is due to an exploit allowing users to be invisible just by walking around with the cannon.”
This may be inconvenient for those looking for fame in Fortnite, but it’s for the benefit of the community. Additionally, the sniper has been buffed, thus losing the cannon advantage. The one standing with the cannon is a bigger target in the game. With that in mind, Epic Games may release a better solution later this season. Since the cannon will inevitably be used until the next stage of the storyline begins, limiting its usefulness is not the best option.
