Fortnite players will receive a new update on Tuesday, October 18th. Epic Games announced an update some time ago, adding many new things to the popular video game.

While almost everyone has their eye on the Halloween event next Tuesday, there are some new features worth noting. This update adds new controls that make character movement easier.

PC gamers generally have an advantage over console users, but there is one aspect that controllers do better than keyboards and mouses. The controller allows you to move diagonally at any angle in the game, which is very convenient.

By default, the player can move the character by moving the left analog stick to any angle. The right analog stick is used for looking and aiming. Analog sticks allow controller users to move in any direction.

According to HYPEX, the most popular Fortnite Battle Royale leaker, the next update will allow PC players to control diagonal movements. At the moment this is simply not possible.

New motion controls are just a small part of this upcoming update in the game. The v22.20 update brings the Fortnitemares 2022 event, set to be one of the biggest events of the year.

According to the leak, several new skins and a new boss will be added to the game. The new boss will reportedly spawn zombified animals and bring a new Mythic Weapon in Fortnite.
