During his substation, after being awake for 48 hours, Fousey made a frantic call to the police. On the livestream, he can be heard urgently requesting assistance, exclaiming, “Send the f*cking cops, send the cops!” He went even further, asserting, “There is a gun to my head right now,” while trying to convince the 911 dispatcher that he was facing a life-threatening situation.

Law enforcement promptly responded to the call, arriving at his hotel room where tensions escalated further. Fousey, audibly distressed, informed the officers that his mother was at risk due to a phone call she had received. The situation escalated to the point where Fousey’s hands were restrained. He was then led out of the room in police custody, all while the livestream continued to capture the unfolding events.

Following the incident, reports from TMZ indicate that Fousey has been transferred to a medical facility for a mental health evaluation. The Miami Police Department stated that Fousey was not detained but was taken for evaluation based on his statements and behavior during the livestream altercation.
