Genshin Impact 3.2 livestream
As announced by HoYoverse before, the Genshin Impact 3.2 livestream was aired today on Twitch and YouTube. The special program brought 300 free primogems with itself along with a detailed information on the banner schedule and upcoming content on the next patch.
For the 3.2 update, the developers have chosen the name ‘Akasha Pulses The Kalpa Flame Rises’ which is going to be added in the game on November 2nd, 2022 for both mobile and PC users. New characters for this update, Nahida and Layla were already revealed through drip marketing but today players got to see their gameplay animation.
While Nahida, the Dendro Archon seems to be the spotlight of the Genshin Impact 3.2 livestream, Scaramouche’s cutscene and his weekly boss announcement was also exciting to the players. Here is a detailed recap of the special program.

New banners
It has been announced that Nahida and Yoimiya will be the event wishes for the first phase of the next patch. Their banners will be followed by Yae Miko and Childe, who are getting their reruns along with Yoimiya, a 5-star Pyro user. The new character ‘Layla’ with 4-star rarity will be included in the banners of Yae Miko and Childe.
New weapon
As Nahida is a catalyst user, players will be able to wish upon a new catalyst that appears like a lamp named as ‘A Thousand Floating Dreams’. To accompany this weapon, we’ll also see the rerun of the signature weapons of Yoimiya, Yae Miko and Childe.

New events
Fabulous Fungus Frenzy
A certain Sumeru researcher will be hosting a Beast Tamer competition which as attracted spectators from other nations as well. Completing the quest and challenges for the flagship event of Genshin Impact 3.2 update will grant the players with ‘Dori‘, a 4-star Electro healer of Sumeru.
Adventurer’s Trial event
An all new Adventurer’s trial event is waiting for the players. As mentioned before, this event has been inspired from Fall Guys and consists of multiple number of challenges for the players. Most of the challenges and objectives will be based on traveler’s elemental reaction knowledge.
Hypostatic Symphony: Dissonant Verse
Even though this is just a rerun event, a major change that players will witness this time is the addition of Dendro Hypostasis, the last member of the Hypostasis. At this event, players will be required to beat the Dendro, Hydro, Cryo and Pyro Hypostasis in order to obtain rewards such as primogems.
Other updates
Some optimizations will be made to the Serenitea Pot system of the game as players will now be able to take inspiration from the designs of their friend’s Serenitea Pot by sharing a specific code available in the game. Apart from that, it has been announced that Genshin Impact will add French and Italian to their in-game language option.
