Genshin Impact 3.4 leaks provide the gameplay videos of Al-Haitham and Yaoyao

Right after HoYoverse did the surprise drip marketing for Al-Haitham and Yaoyao, the upcoming playable Dendro units in the game, some fresh Genshin Impact 3.4 leaks were able to reveal the gameplay videos for both the characters. The respective 5-star and 4-star characters join the Traveler’s party next year.

Al-Haitham, who was initially showcased during the Sumeru promotional video will become playable as a Dendro sword character. His elemental skill ability would help him to enter an aiming mode, just like Nahida, and deal quick damage along her path. On the other hand, his elemental burst, will provide Dendro AoE DMG that appears quite similar to Keqing’s kit.

The 4-star character Yaoyao’s elemental skill might appear to be confusing to some Travelers as she throws a special Dendro device towards her enemy, but the device misses and provides damage at a far off distance. Players might get a clear idea, when Genshin Impact 3.4 leaks provide information on her kit.

Yaoyao’s elemental burst ‘Moonjade Descent’ is pretty similar to her elemental skill but the only difference lies in the range of the attack. Burst will cover a wide area as well as heal active characters in the field when the device gets exploded. These devices will spawn on the field as the character sprints or jumps.

Genshin Impact 3.4 leaks: Yaoyao to be provided as a free character

Yaoyao is a Liyue character who was rumored to be a Dendro user for a long time. As she was officially revealed at The Game Awards 2022, fans were excited to know whether she will be provided for free in the Lantern Rite Festival, which is scheduled to take place in the 3.4 update.

Genshin Impact 3.4 leaks claim that she will indeed be a free character, who can be claimed as an option along with the other Liyue characters which are mentioned below-

  • Xiangling
  • Beidou
  • Yun Jin
  • Yanfei
  • Yaoyao
  • Xinyan
  • Ninngguang
  • Xingqiu
  • Chongyun

Apart from Yaoyao as a new character, players will be given the option to summon Chongyun at the Lantern Rite Festivals. It can be assumed that some new challenges will be added at the 3.4 festival such as puzzles and quests so that the upcoming Lantern Rite is memorable for the players.

Genshin Impact 3.4 leaks also mention that the desert area of Sumeru nation will be expanded with the upcoming patch. Players can look forward to some new domains and enemies, once the desert area gets new locations.
