The drip marketing for the 3.6 update came a little early. HoYoverse has confirmed that for the 3.6 update, Genshin Impact banners will comprise Baizhu and Kaveh. Once again, the developers are releasing two Dendro characters together in the ever-changing meta of the game.

Baizhu has been in rumors for a long time about becoming a playable unit. The owner of Bubu Pharmacy was considered to be one of the first Dendro characters, but there has always been a mystery regarding his release date. Now, HoYoverse has confirmed his release in the April update.

Baizhu is going to become a 5-star unit, whereas Kaveh is likely to become a 4-star unit. Even though they share the same element, there is a lot of difference in their kit. As per some previously available information, Baizhu can play the role of a healer or supporter during combat. Additionally, the snake around his neck will have some role to play in dealing with DMG.

Kaveh, the famous architect, is most likely to be a sword user. Some leakers indicate that he is going to increase his normal and elemental DMG abilities, which will make him a rare character. Although this solely depends on his constellation,. Apart from that, players should note that this character’s abilities scale with his elemental mastery; therefore, he should be built accordingly.

When will Genshin Impact 3.6 update release?

HoYoverse usually does the drip marketing for the new characters when they release a new patch. However, this time Baizhu and Kaveh were confirmed to be the 3.6 update characters even before the upcoming update was released.

As per the official announcement, the 3.5 update is going to be released on March 1st. This implies that the Genshin Impact banners of Yelan and Hu Tao are going to be removed on the previous day. In addition to that, it is more or less known that each patch lasts around 42 days. Therefore, the 3.6 update can likely be released around the 11th or 12th of April.

On the flip side, the live stream of this patch will be hosted two weeks before. Players can know more about the gameplay of these two characters once some fresh leaks are available or the special program is hosted.

Apart from Baizhu and Kaveh, there have been some speculations that the Genshin Impact banners will also feature Nahida. She is the latest Archon to be added to the game who will be getting her first rerun since her release. Nahida, a Dendro user is one of the best support characters for Dendro or compatible elements.
