The 2.7 update bringing Yelan and Kuki Shinobu in the character banners might release sooner than expected as data miners have been providing the fans with a lot of Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks along with crumbs of information regarding the 2.8 update.
The unexpected announcement of Shikanoin Heizou created an array of leaks. Fans who were worrying of the game becoming inactive due to the delay are finally relieved now that they can see leaked information regarding the upcoming two patches.

Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks indicate the arrival of Electro Yaksha
An interesting piece of information from Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks has aroused curiosity among the players. It is a news regarding the arrival of Electro Yaksha provided by BLANK, who provides accurate information most of the times. As the rumor about Electro Yaksha residing in The Chasm became trending previously, players are now willing to meet the Yaksha.
Having a dreadful appearance and astonishing martial prowess, Yakshas were summoned by the Geo Archon Morax 500 years ago during the Cataclysm to fight the remaining demons after the Archon War. Till now, they are considered the guardians of Teyvat but they unfortunately fell into ruin and got lost in the history of Teyvat.
Only one Yaksha remained who is currently playable as the Anemo character Xiao but it was also mentioned in the lore that a Yaksha went missing and people of Liyue believe that a Yaksha resides in The Chasm. Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks indicate that the missing Yaksha is the Electro Yaksha who fell into darkness.
While exploring The Chasm, players also encountered a Ruin Tablet which read as, “My name is Bosacius and I followed my Lord’s wish to fight against the evil.” Bosacius is the name of Electro Yaksha and Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks reveal that a story quest will introduce this Yaksha.
Some previous Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks had informed fans about a story quest involving Xiao, Yanfei and other characters. Xiao is also getting a rerun banner along with Yelan which further confirms this information that the Electro Yaksha will indeed appear in The Chasm, a region that got unlocked in the 2.6 update.
Travelers will be able to find out more regarding the history of Teyvat when they meet the Electro Yaksha Bosacius along with Xiao. Players would definitely not miss out on catching the lore of the game when the 2.7 update is released.
