Genshin Impact 2.7 update coming soon
The Genshin Impact 2.7 update which was postponed in the wake of grave Covid-19 crisis will finally release on 31st May as announced by the developers yesterday. The unexpected special program was also hosted today where players were able to collect 3 redeem codes as well as information regarding the upcoming patch.
The 2.7 update has been named as the Hidden Dreams in the Depths. Players who were getting the compensation primogems for the patch delay will finally be able to enjoy the update soon.

Genshin Impact 2.7 update livestream reveals information on the patch
New and rerun banners
As announced in the special program, the first phase of the update will bring the banner of new character, Yelan and playable Anemo 5-star character, Xiao. The 4-star characters of these banner have already been leaked. As for the second patch in Genshin Impact 2.7 update that begins on 21st June, players will see the rerun banner of Arataki Itto where Kuki Shinobu will receive huge drop rate boost.
New weapons
A new 5-star bow named ‘Aqua Simulacra’ will be available in the first phase of the Epitome Invocation banner. Apparently, this is the signature weapon of new Hydro character Yelan. Another 4-star weapon named ‘Fading Twilight’ will be provided as a reward in an upcoming event.
New events
Following events have been announced for Genshin Impact 2.7 update in the special program that ended a few hours ago, players can expect to farm a lot of primogems from these events-
Perilous Trail
This event will be based on an Archon Quest in Genshin Impact 2.7 update and will take place in the depths of The Chasm. As the Traveler will get stranded in a dangerous point, they will meet Yelan, Kuki Shinobu, Yanfei, Arataki Itto as well as Xiao. The arrival of Xiao implies that players will be able to uncover the secrets of the Electro yaksha.
A Muddy Bizarre Adventure
This event is also going to take place in The Chasm where players will have to deal with constant monsters along with the constant oozing mud that will apparently deplete your HP. Players will be required to clear the oozing mud but the objective of different challenges might change over time.
The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival
This one will be a quite relaxing event for the players as players will be able to play different songs with the drum provided. This event will be hosted by Arataki Itto as he celebrates the graduation of Kuki Shinobu. The corresponding rewards in this event will be primogems, hero’s wit as well as a drum.
Core of the Apparatus
The last event teased in the special program is an event where players will be able to make their own robot. Players will meet a toy merchant from Fontaine who will bring an instrument which can make robots ad different items. The event looks quite easy as well as entertaining.

New artifact feature
As mentioned in the leaks earlier, when the Genshin Impact 2.7 update is released, players will be able to build their characters in a unique way. They will be provided with recommendation from other players regarding the artifacts and talent materials that should be used in an update.
