Genshin Impact alternate outfits for 4 characters such as Mona, Amber, Rosaria and Jean that was distributed by the developers few days ago in the current update have proven to be a huge hit among the travelers who have started donning the outfits. However, an interesting fact is that the outfits provide a hidden buff.
Even though, MiHoYo didn’t provide a chance to the players complaining about the limited characters in the game, the option of alternate outfits was in demand from a very long period of time. The summer-themed outfits of Jean and Barbara became so popular that the developers started releasing Genshin Impact alternate skins quite often.
Genshin Impact alternate outfits has something more to offer
The 2.4 update of Genshin Impact has been the best update especially for the players who wanted to add alternate outfits for the characters in their inventory. The Lantern Rite Event 2022 will be providing a free skin of Ningguang named “Orchid’s Evening Gown” whereas Keqing’s skin can be obtained with Genesis Crystals.
On the other hand, Genshin Impact alternate outfits for 4 playable characters, Amber, Rosaria, Jean, and Mona were only slight alterations to their default outfits. These outfits were given for free to every player irrespective of their rank. The outfits are can be claimed from the in-game mail of the players.
One Genshin Impact player has pointed out that these skins actually provide a DMG buff to the characters. From the reddit post revealed in Genshin Impact sub reddit, the outfits provide a 48% damage bonus in combat. Although, this rather appears as a bug and MiHoYo might remove it soon.
It is however, important to note that the attack bonus does not work when players use the characters in one of the toughest section of the game, Spiral Abyss. MiHoYo didn’t inform the players anything regarding the attack bonus, therefore, players should consider it to be a technical glitch.
Some other leaks have revealed that the next characters to receive proper Genshin Impact alternate skins will hail from Monstadt unlike Ningguang and Keqing who hail from Liyue.
