A recently trending leak in the Genshin Impact community regarding the cutscene of Nahida in the 2.8 update has been clarified as misleading by the same leaker who had uploaded the cutscene pictures. This has again left players wondering about the appearance of Nahida who is allegedly the Dendro Archon.

Dendro and Sumeru are one of the most discussed topics right now as several mysteries remain unsolved on them. While it is true that the beta test recruitment for the 3.0 update has already begun, players can barely keep calm to get information on Sumeru.

Genshin Impact leaker clarifies Nahida’s appearance as misleading

Nahida is the vessel name for the Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali. The latter name has been given by the people of Sumeru and from the dialogue of several Sumeru NPCs, it is clear that they rever the Dendro Archon greatly. When several leaks hinted that Nahida will appear in the central event of 2.8 update, players tended to believe the invisible character model in 2.8 cutscene.

However, the leaker himself has claimed that the model is not the appearance of Nahida but it is rather a NPC girl or a boy. This might come as a disappointment to the players who were ardently waiting for the Dendro Archon’s appearance. However, leaker Lumie has claimed that we will hear from a new character in the 2.8 event.

This new character is likely going to be the Dendro Archon because the 2.8 update releasing in July is the last Inazuma patch in Genshin Impact. Players will be able to get some crucial information on the Dendro element as well Sumeru, a nation that is based on the Mediterranean regions.

At this moment, the only appearance we have for Nahida is the silhouette provided by leaker BLANK but the community seems to be divided as to whether the silhouette belongs to the Dendro Archon or a shadow of the 4-star Electro character Fischl’s new skin appearing in the 2.8 update.

Even though Nahida won’t appear in the Genshin Impact 2.8 update cutscene that takes place in the Golden Apple Archipelago islands, players should not hesitate from participating in the central event of the upcoming patch which features characters like Mona, Kazuha, Fischl and Xinyan.
