Even though Genshin Impact requires players to hop around Teyvat alone and complete quests and events on their own, there is an existing feature that allows players to add friends in their list and further bring them in their own world so that difficult bosses and daily commissions can be done with ease.

A new leak suggest that the developers will be making a quality of life change starting from the 3.0 update where players will be able to add more friends. This leak seems reliable as the beta phase was just concluded.

HoYoverse has chalked out a lot of plans for the first Sumeru update that will see its dawn from the 3.0 update. Players should note that the addition of Dendro characters is not the only new addition that the developers are set to bring but they are also going to make some changes that will be highly beneficial for the users.

One such change indicated by leaks in Genshin Impact reveals that players can now add up to 60 friends in the game whereas earlier the limit was kept at 45. As some of the players enjoy playing in Co-OP mode, it will be easy for them to bring in more friends and check when each friend is online.

As this leak came out from the 3.0 beta, players can expect this new feature to roll out right from the 3.0 update that is apparently releasing on August 24th. The special program for this update will be showcased today where players might some additional information on these changes.

The current Genshin Impact players can configure up to 4 different parties that can help them to keep a team ready for any situation but with the 3.0 update the configuration slot has been increase to 10 providing more room for the players to design a team as per their wish.

Alternate sprint

Another crucial feature that is going to be available in the next patch is that the alternate sprint animation for characters like Mona, Ayaka, Sayu and Yelan will be changed. These characters will now be able to sprint even if they encounter any rocks or stairs while exploring.
