The 2.6 update of Genshin Impact has finally started rolling out different events for the players and the latest one is giving away the 4-star character Xingqui for free. The developers have released the details regarding Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden Event which is also also known as the event celebrating the Inazuman or Irodori festival. Players will be able to see both Inazuman and non-Inazuman characters come together in a special cutscene.

Genshin Impact brings new events with every update that provides the Travelers with free primogems as well as other special rewards such as rare artifacts or sometimes even weapons and characters. The new event is soon to kick in where players can obtain Xingqiu for free.

Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden Event

The 2.6 update of the game is centered around the Inazuman nation due to the arrival of Kamisato Ayato, the elder sibling of Kamisato Ayaka. Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden Event is a special event where Travelers can engage in the festival of Inazuma. The event is set to commence from 7th April and conclude on 25th April. Here are the requirements for participating in this event-

Eligibility

  • Travelers should be Adventure Rank 30 or above
  • Complete the Archon Quest: “Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”
  • Complete the story quests of Kamisato Ayato, Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi (Patch 2.5)

However, if players have not completed the above mentioned story quests, they can still participate in the Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden Event by tapping on the Quick Start Option.

Gameplay details

Travelers will unlock four different modes once they begin with the Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden Event. Here are the details of the different modes

The Moon and Stars Inscribe

Players can begin with the first mode of the event after completing “True Tales of the Violet Garden: Act I” quest in the “Legends of the Kasen.”

  • Travelers need to take pictures in specific regions after receiving daily themes to obtain event inspiration.
  • After collecting a certain number of inspirational materials, players can complete the theme creation and obtain Primogems, Talent Level-Up Materials, Hero’s Wit, and more.

Theatre Mechanicus: Stage of Brilliance

Travelers can participate in the Theater Mechanicus challenge at Komakata’s location after completing quest Act II. Before entering the stage, players can configure the “Wondrous Sticks” in this stage.

  • According to the “Stage Features” of different stages, select Wondrous Sticks strategically and build mechanisms to defeat enemies and get the corresponding score.
  • When the corresponding score is met, players can obtain Primogems and other rewards

Clash of Lone Blades

For entering the third gameplay mode of Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden Event, players need to complete the 3rd Act of the quest and complete the following tasks

  • Talk to the designated martial artists to start the challenge. During the match, the Traveler will not be able to use Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts, and will gain an all-new Parry mechanic.
  • Get the timing right and use Parry well to win your opponent. After reaching the corresponding conditions, you can obtain the rewards

The Floral Courtyard

  • Once players have obtained the floral theme from Fushizome, they can try to construct a specific “floral courtyard” according to the hints of the floral theme.
  • When the requirements of the floral themes are met, players can obtain event-exclusive Furnishings, Primogems and more rewards.

  • Once Travelers complete all the different tasks under “Legends of the Kasen” quest, they can receive the “Irodori Anecdotes” of the corresponding phases.
  • During the Genshin Impact Hues of the Violet Garden event, complete all the criteria in “Friendship in Writing” to invite “Juvenile Galant” Xingqiu (Hydro). It is importat to note Xingqiu can be obtained only once for every ID.
