MiHoYo reveals details regarding all new weapons and events in Genshin Impact 2.5 update on preview page

The developers of the globally popular role playing game have released an overall summary as to what can be expected in the Genshin Impact 2.5 update. As the special program has already been concluded, players have set their timers for the new update.

Genshin Impact 2.5 update named as “When the Sakura Bloom” is expected to release on February 16,2022. The new update makes the priestess of the Grand Narukami Shrine, Yae Miko as a playable character. It heavily focuses on Inazuma characters making the return of Ei and Kokomi. Along with that a lot of new events are expected to give primogems to the players.

Genshin Impact 2.5 update: All new weapons and events

As every new update makes a character playable, the developers also release the signature weapon of the new character. Apart from that, events providing free primogems are also released in the game in different phases of the update. Here is what players can see in Genshin Impact 2.5 update.

Weapons

Kagura’s Verity

The signature weapon of Yae Miko, Kagura’s Verity is a catalyst weapon that is uniquely designed to match the personality of Yae Miko. Leaks provided by UBatcha have revealed the base ATK of Kagura’s Verity to be 608. On the other hand, it has a splendid CRIT DMG sub-stat of 66.2 when upgraded to its maximum level.

Oathsworn Eye

Oathsworn Eye is a 4 star catalyst weapon. Similar to the Kagura’s Verity, it has a unique design which players should certainly claim as the weapon can be obtained for free in a new event where players have to explore Enkanomiya. Data miners have revealed that Oathsworn Eye will have an ATK% sub-stat and has a base ATK of 565.

Events

Three Realms Gateway Offering

Players have to visit the Wasatsumi Island in Enkanomiya where they need to face the Corrosion Resistance, although the main focus of this event will be to explore the area. New gadgets such as the Bokuso Box will greatly assist the Travelers while facing the Corrosive effects. The weapon Oathsworn Eye will be the reward of this event.

Divine Ingenuity

This event is going to be quite fun who have been playing the game for a long time. The Divine Ingenuity Event allows the players to create their custom domains using the resources provided in the event. Players can also publish their designed domains so that other players can take the ideas.

Of Drink-A Dreaming

Another event to polish the creativity of the players in Genshin Impact 2.5 update is the “Of Drink-A Dreaming” Event. Travelers can assume the role of a bartender at Diluc’s Tavern, conduct experiments with the drinks by providing different flavours. Apart from that, they need to prepare the drink according the customer’s order.

Hyakunnin Ikki

As previously revealed, Hyakunnin Ikki will be making a return in the Genshin Impact 2.5 update. Players need to from two tag teams of different characters in order to defeat enemies and old nemesis. Hyakunnin Ikki 2.5 will bring new trail characters and Secret Arts for the players to explore.
