Genshin Impact took to Twitter to announce that the pre-installation feature for the 3.2 update is live. This is a very handy feature as it will download a few resources in advance, and when the update drops, it will take less time for the game to get updated. As the 3.2 update is almost live, Genshin enthusiasts are advised to check out the pre installation feature to experience all latest changes before everyone else.

Once the players have the pre-installation feature on, they will be able to load a resource package which will help them get the latest version more quickly when it goes live.

Pre-installation is currently available only for PC players and Mobile players. Here is a step-by-step guild to help players turn on the pre- installation feature.

How to use the Pre- Installation Feature In Genshin Impact

genshin Impact 3.2 update will be released on the 2nd and the pre-installation as begin on 31 October.

Mobile gamers have to open the game and go to the login screen. At the loading screen, there will be a pre-install resource package button on the left bottom of the screen, pressing which will begin the pre-update process. iOS users will have to navigate to the App store and then tap update. Android gamers can also avail of this feature in the in-game menu, Players can find the pre-install resource package inside the Paimon menu, go to settings, and then Resources.

This Pre-Installation resource package is 2.6 GB so make sure that the device has enough space. What’s better is that players can keep playing while the game gets updated in the background.

PC players will have to update the Genshin Impact Launcher and it is available from today. After updating this launcher, the players will find a Game Pre Installation button at the bottom left. Clicking on this button will start the download. The pre-install resource page is 7.8 GB in size and 16.22 GB is required for unzipping.

The 3.2 update is coming out on 2nd November 2022. So turning on the pre-installation feature will help players update the new game faster.
