The long-awaited gameplay showcase of Scaramouche or ‘The Wanderer’ is finally here as a lot of Genshin Impact leaks on the 3.3 update are pouring in which might have shifted player’s attention from the ongoing update.

Scaramouche getting confirmed as a playable character came as a huge news to the Genshin Impact community. He will be joining the Traveler’s party as a 5-star unit who uses Anemo catalyst combination. As players were not able to analyze much about his gameplay from the kit revealed few days ago, they can now have a better understanding through the animations.

Scaramouche’s elemental skill helps him to make a huge leap in the air through his Anemo powers and surprisingly, his attacks come while he is floating in the air. A ring like structure will form around him like Raiden Shogun while he attacks the enemies with his Anemo DMG while floating.

His elemental burst, on the other hand creates a huge vacuum of Anemo in a specific area and deals Anemo DMG to the nearby enemies. Players can pair Pyro or Hydro characters with him to deal an enhanced amount of damage during combat.

What else is known about Scaramouche in Genshin Impact?

Scaramouche or The Wanderer will likely be released during the first phase of Genshin Impact 3.3 update. To accompany him, HoYoverse is releasing a dedicated Anemo support character known as ‘Faruzan‘ who also becomes playable in the next patch. He will also be the first 5-star character to get his Hangout quest.

Apart from that, a new catalyst will be released which will be the signature weapon for Scaramouche. The catalyst named ‘Tullaytullah’s Remembrance’ will provide a Base ATK of 674 with a passive skill of CRIT DMG. This implies that he is going to be a DPS character.

The passive skill of this weapon will help the active character to gain an increased Normal Attack SPD. After the wielder unleashes an Elemental Skill, Normal Attack DMG will increase by 4.8% every second for 12s. Not only that, Genshin Impact Scaramouche leaks claim that he will also get his signature artifact set. Here is the detail of Desert Pavilion Chronicle artifact set-

  • 2 piece – Increases 15% Anemo DMG Bonus.
  • 4 piece – After Charged Attacks hit opponents, this character’s Normal Attack SPD will increase by 10% while Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG will increase by 30% for 10s

This artifact will also help gaining additional DMG bonus when the effect of Hyperbloom is triggered but players might have to use Hydro and Dendro characters in their team.

Scaramouche in Genshin Impact will be the second male catalyst user after Shikanoin Heizou. Players should stock up on their primogems right from the current update if they wish to obtain this character.
