WB Games Montreal released a significant new patch update for Gotham Knights. The game owned by Warner Brothers (WB games), since its entry into the gaming market last year, has been steadily releasing updates. The latest patch, available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, is the most substantial one yet.

When Gotham Knights launched in October, it received a lukewarm reception due to its technical issues. However, Warner Bros Montreal seemed to have overcome the earlier setbacks. Gotham Knight’s latest update have resolved most of the game’s technical issues. Moreover, it focuses less on fixes and more on new content, including accessibility improvements.

What is in the new update of Gotham Knights by WB Games?

Gotham Knights new update patch includes accessibility improvements. This will allow players remap their controllers and gameplay controls, change buttons that need to be held down to toggle. Additionally, it will provide improved screen-reader support and English text-to-speech capability.

The most notable addition to the game made by WB games is “The Kelvin Incident.” This is a new raid associated with the Heroic Assault game mode. Moreover, it also adds 15 new floors, new gear, and various strong enemies. The story of the raid centers around Harley Quinn, Dr. Freeze, and Clayface. Apart from that, players can also earn a new tier of stronger gear that only drops in this specific raid, as well as new materials. There are also new transmogs, including a suit and four batcycle designs.

On PC the recent Gotham Knights update have improved game stability. It addressed issues such as draw distances and shadow castings when playing with higher field-of-view values. Additionally, the update fixed Red Hood’s Mystal Leap behavior when playing at higher frame rates.

  • Crash fix for a rare scenario when the PS5 controller is set as a default audio device.
  • Fix for crash while using keyboard input for camera roll in Photo Mode.
  • Several smaller optimizations for the performance of both GPU & CPU.

UI

  • Fix to the Text Chat behavior when using PageUp/PageDown keys.
  • Several fixes to the Text to Speech feature in PC-specific menus.
  • Fix to Activity notifications conflicts with other on-screen actions.
  • Fix to Photo Mode being improperly displayed while starting a cinematic in co-op.
  • Analog sticks icons for Nintendo Switch and Direct Input controllers have been updated.
