This patch might seem small but fixes some major issues in GTA Online.

GTA Online new patch: Major security issue resolved, Performance, and stability fixes, and more

Rockstar Games has released the 1.66 patch update to address some existing bugs in Grand Theft Auto Online. Devs released a patch solely for PC to solve the security issues. Now they have released a comparatively big update for all platforms, i.e. for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It also eradicates the problem of a hacking scheme that helped hackers to alter players’ details which results in banning their GTA Online account.

This is a formal title update for GTA Online, although compared to other patches we’ve seen in the past, it does not seem to do much. However, it solves major security issues. In general, this patch aims to “improve stability” for all game editions while also fixing a few bugs on platforms. The patch is live now and you can download it on your preferred device. It is a 400 MB or 1 GB patch which won’t take too long to download.
