“He paid 44$Bn for that validation”: Hasanabi hits out at Elon Musk for $8 Twitter blue tick payment policy

Elon Musk has finally bought Twitter and since then all he has received is criticism. Elon has introduced several new features which have made a lot of people unhappy. The biggest disappointment for Twitter users is the new blue tick criteria, which requires users to pay an $8 monthly subscription to maintain their verified account status.

Hasanabi, a famous streamer known for his bold political commentary, took to Twitter to share his thoughts about Elon Musk regarding the new verification criteria. Hasanabi did not mince his words when he called Musk stupid for the new criteria that he set. He also commented on a post, saying, “people hate to pay to win schemes until it’s someone they idolize selling it to them under the false premise of free speech.”

With the latest verification criteria, anyone who wants to get verified can do so only by paying $8 per month. Now it will require $8/month for Twitter users to get the exclusive blue ticks, as they will have to pay a monthly subscription fee to maintain the verified status. Hasanabi hit out at this new criteria, stating that it was obvious that someone like Musk would ask people to pay money every month for their posts to be visible on the platform. Hasanabi is not the first person to say this, as there have been numerous tweets regarding the same issue. This is because people fear getting shadowbanned on the app if their accounts are not verified.
