“People don’t give a sh*t,” HasanAbi explains why boycotting Hogwarts Legacy will be an effort in vain
HasanAbi is not playing Hogwarts Legacy but he believes that boycotting the game is meaningless.
HasanAbi on Hogwarts Legacy boycott calls
Twitch streamer Hasan ‘HasanAbi’ Piker is the latest streamer to provide his opinion on the Hogwarts Legacy controversy. The action-adventure RPG saw the release of its early access two days ago which has increased boycott calls in a certain section.
The intensity of these ‘calls’ has gone to such an extent that some people are harassing streamers for playing the game. xQc and Asmongold have already provided their take on this, and now HasanAbi has joined them to explain why shunning the game will do no good.
The former columnist explained that people who are thinking why it has become hard for others to avoid just one video game, don’t recognize that they should make a better demand. “Make a better ask,” Hasan added that the demand is quite marginal and silly.
This is the reason why others are ignoring the boycott calls, according to HasanAbi. “So the very fact that you are asking for such a tiny thing in and of itself is perhaps half the reason that people are not taking it seriously,” described the content creator.
Concluding his discussion on the Hogwarts Legacy drama, Hasan talked about the other angle of why people are not paying serious attention to the boycott calls: “people don’t give a sh*t about trans people”. Although he believed that this is a scary state of affair.

HasanAbi donates $20K to raise 1 million for Turkey-Syria earthquake funds
HasanAbi has given the ‘finishing touch’ to the funds raised for the victims stuck in Turkey-Syria earthquake. The lethal calamity has left more than 8k people dead and counting. As a consequence, several countries across the world have stepped forward to help those in need.
Even Twitch streamers have not hesitated to take the required initiative. Hasan Piker was leading the fundraising movement as he started a charity stream for the earthquake victims. Within a few hours he was able to raise more than $500K to fund in some notable charities.
During his first charity stream on Turkey-Syria victims, Hasan donated $25K followed by some unknown users, Valkyrae, Ludwig and iShowSpeed. This stream faced a lot of backlash as people termed him a clout-chaser.
Despite this, HasanAbi continued to move forward with his goal and surprisingly raised a million to help out these victims. Once again, he had the highest contribution of $20K in the charity stream.
