Hogwarts Legacy gives players almost everything from the magical world of Harry Potter. You can explore the iconic Hogwarts Castle and the Forbidden Forest while taking the magic lectures. While attending the Herbology lecture, you will come across a plant known as the Mandrake. It is one of the iconic plants.  According to Hermoine Granger,  “Mandrake, or Mandragora, is a powerful restorative. It is used to return people who have been transfigured or cursed to their original state.”

They have high-pitched shrieking cry which can just pierce your ears. It is a deadly plant to handle without good eye protection. However, that’s not the case in the game. As they scream, mandrakes can paralyze enemies in a fight, providing players a break from more difficult foes. Players see mandrakes for the first time in Professor Garlick’s first Herbology class in Hogwarts Legacy.

After encountering this devil of a plant in Herbology class, you will see find Mandrakes on the ground while exploring the areas in Hogwarts Legacy. However, the best place to find Mandrakes is the Forbidden Forest. You must enter the Forbidden Forest in order to find a Mandrake. There will be a small house. You’ll be able to see a large tree after battling some of the undead creatures who are hiding around the house. Now adjacent to this big tree, you’ll see a corpse with a note explaining its last moments. You will find three Mandrakes near this corpse. You can find more while exploring the Forbidden Forest, but above mentioned is the best spot to get Mandrake.

But the best and by far the easiest way to get Mandrakes is by throwing down Galleons. You need to head to Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade. You can find some of the most uncommon herbs in this shop. Players can buy a fully grown Mandrake for 500 Galleons where as the seeds will cost you 800 Galleons. If you buy the seeds, you can grow them in a pot on your potting table in the Room of Requirement. However, you should keep in mind that Galleons are quite hard to collect in Hogwarts Legacy so should try to find these plants in the wild.
