Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 has taken players back to Fortnite Chapter 1, also known as Season OG. The update has left players reminiscing in nostalgia as Epic Games has brought back many old gameplay mechanics and items, such as the Storm Flip. Epic Games has re-added the original POIs, OG Graphics, and everything that will take players back in time. One such item is the Air Strike, which has now been re-added to Fortnite.

The Air Strike in Fortnite is a consumable item of legendary rarity. It was first added to the game in Chapter 1, Season 9. Epic Games has brought back Chapter 1, Season 9, and X on November 23rd, as per the Fortnite OG season schedule. The return of these seasons also brings the air strike to the game.

Air Strike in Fortnite Location & Uses

Air Strikes in Fortnite OG can be found in Supply Drops, chests, or as part of ground loot. The easiest way to get your hands on one of these is to head towards a major POI on the map, such as Pleasant Park or Retail Row, where several chests are close. The item can be found as a navy green grenade with a red painting of a nuke falling to the ground and a legendary item’s orange aura.

The Air Strike in Fortnite can be used to call an aerial attack on the map. To use the item, you can select the item in your loadout and throw it out onto the floor. The item fires 20 missiles in 8 seconds, each dealing 50 damage upon hitting a player. It also deals 400 damage to any structure. The Air Strike is a great item to force players out of hiding, destroy their structures, and make them an open target.

You can also carry a decent amount of these at a time. Epic Games has made it such that The Air Strike is found in two pairs and has a max stack of four. You are also allowed to throw multiple of these at the same time. The air strike can be a crucial tool in your arsenal, especially in later circles. The smaller the area you have to fight in, the higher its effectiveness will be.
