How to get Creator Code in Fortnite

Players declare their support for a Fortnite Creator in-game by entering the Creator’s code via the “Support-A-Creator” button. For Epic Games Store games, Creators can share referral links on their channels or promote their Creator Code to their supporters, to get credit for sales of those games.

Epic believes that Creators are an essential part of building communities around awesome games. Epic Games considers all regions, languages, audience sizes, and types of content from creators.

Creator Code requirements

Creators must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

  • Must be between 3 and 16 characters.
  • Must only contain alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), dash (-), or dot (.)
  • Must not contain only repetitive characters (e.g., AAA or BBB)
  • Must reflect Display Name or Social Media handle
  • Must be consistent with the Epic Games Community Rules

Once you have been verified as an active Creator and you reach the minimum compensation threshold of $100 USD, the payout will be sent to Hyperwallet for processing. Payment instructions are scheduled to be sent to Hyperwallet 45 days after the end of the month in which they have been earned by Creators.

Creators need 1000 followers on at least one of those social media accounts to have a code:

  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Twitch
  • VKontakte

Once players submit their phone number and other required information, and verify their social media account, they will still be needed to be approved by Epic Games.
