How to smoke Mid from tiles using Harbor on Ascent in Valorant?
Episode 5 Act 3 has found gamers clamoring for Harbor in Valorant and using him to the best of what could be in this short period. It is only natural to try and learn Harbor as a method of taking up space since his utility allows him to aggressively take control of the site while his teammates are fragging out and making their entry into the site. As a supporting agent, Harbor is supposed to take up space in the map, making it more difficult for his enemies to move and in turn turning him into a nuisance to play against.
Since Harbor joins the severely understaffed controller category and most of the controllers are map-specific, Harbor might just be looking at that one universal controller slot that can probably be run on any map. Harbor’s natural game is more so on the defensive side, rather than taking on aggressive fragging or attack-based gameplay and since mid-control is one of the most important area controls on the map, it is only natural to use Harbor’s abilities as a controller to try and push for the first control on site.

How to smoke Mid from Tiles on Ascent in Valorant
If Harbor is supposed to be good at something, it must be in his ability to smoke off crucial chokepoints all at once with his kit allowing him to choose a particular area and deny enemy abilities within it. Harbor’s cove ability does exactly that, which he can buy for 300 creds in the match, and every round gets only one charge out of it. Harbor’s Cove should be used in combination with his High Tide to allow for better space occupation within the site before also using his Tidal Wave to secure a smooth entry onto the site, taking better control of the surroundings. It is essential to try and get the best out of this ability to facilitate better entry into the site and allow for a maximum place to be taken up as well as cover up the most crucial part while pushing onto the site or taking control of a crucial part in the map.

For this lineup, go near the tiles in mid and point upwards towards the roof. Taking the cove ability, line it up against the top of the roof and jump-throw it to land perfectly on the mid archway to block off any operator-wielding Chambers. This will perfectly smoke off the mid-archway, providing mid-control early on to push onto the site.
This is quite a simple lineup that does not require anything too complicated and gains control over a crucial part of the map. Go ahead and impress your teammates with this lineup.
