It is no secret that YouTuber iShowSpeed extensively idolizes Cristiano Ronaldo. He has hosted several streams centered around him, and has even traveled across the world to see him play at various stadiums. Naturally, when he received a rare CR7 edition of Nike Air Max shoes, he was dumbfounded.
Speed has often shown his wide collection of Ronaldo memorabilia, consisting of his jersey and shorts. However, this new addition might just become the most valuable thing in Speed’s collection. It is valued at upwards of $2000 for the shoe size that Speed received.
The incident took place when Speed appeared on an episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping YouTube series. The host of the show, Joe La Puma, started speaking about the streamer’s obsession with Ronaldo. He then pointed him towards a very rare pair of sneakers, a pair of Ronaldo-themed Nike Air Max shoes. Speed started obsessing over the shoes and jokingly tried to steal them. However, the host then dropped the bomb on him, saying that he did not need to steal the shoes since they were a gift for him.
“I have never seen those before. Thank you man. CR7! And these are rare made? These are the only shoes I’ll wear.”
Knowing Speed’s obsession with Ronaldo, he might just go through with the claim he made. However, the sneakers are truly a rare variant and are only available for purchase now via reselling. The sneakers were originally released in 2017 and have since been discontinued. Although the YouTuber can profit a lot if he sells these shoes, it is doubtful that he ever will.

iShowSpeed may have been considering shifting to Kick
Like many other prominent streamers, iShowSpeed was also one of the main streamers who was allegedly considering shifting to Kick. This comes after big names like Adin Ross and TrainwrecksTV shifted to the platform.
Speed recently received a ban on YouTube, which he and several other streamers deemed unfair. During this time, Adin Ross urged Speed to switch platforms and join Kick. The Bottom G believed that Speed would receive much better treatment at Kick. However, Speed was soon unbanned from YouTube, and he has gone back to creating content for the platform.
So far, Speed has not hinted at switching platforms at all. So his fans will have to wait for an actual announcement from the streamer himself to know more about the issue. However, as of now, he will remain on YouTube.
