IShowSpeed gets swatted on stream as he was about to hit 20 million subscribers on YouTube
IShowSpeed has been popping off for quite some time. He has reached milestone after milestone, as he has now officially hit 20 million subscribers. The last million he hit was less than a month ago. On top of that, it was during the time he was hospitalized that he livestreamed for his fans, solely for the celebration of 19 million subscribers.
IShowSpeed has also been under heavy controversy for a long time. From being banned at ESPN to being labeled a misogynist, his recent controversy has made headlines too. A few weeks ago, during his stream, he was playing the horror game ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’.After a jumpscare, he jumped from his chair, which caused him to have a wardrobe malfunction and later be canceled on the internet.
Before all this, he had been hospitalized for a cluster headache that had him take a break from streaming. The critical time had seen Speed emotional and worried for his health as fans showered him with support from around the globe. Despite all this, he has bounced back and has now reached 20 million subscribers. An outstanding achievement at the young age of 19.

IShowSpeed swatted by some fan once again during live stream
As Speed was less than 100k subscribers from reaching 20 million, he was live streaming an exclusive countdown stream to 20 million. During this stream, he was reacting to his music video ‘God is Good‘ whilst getting a haircut. Just then, someone knocks at Speed’s bedroom door, only to inform him that the police were knocking at the front door.
IShowSpeed can be seen instantly frustrated as he realizes he got swatted by some user online. “Oh my god, bro, hold up, chat. Why do they keep doing this? Just give me a second (he tells his barber)”, he exclaims as he leaves the room. As Speed is known for his wild reactions, netizens always try to catch him off guard. This was not the first time Speed got swatted, in another stream, he had been headlined as he got handcuffed by police due to a swat.
This time around, however, Speed made sure to keep it under control and not let it blow out of proportion. He later celebrated his success with 20 million subscribers, as he has been consistent with streams for a long time now. From meeting his idols to winning streaming awards, IShowSpeed is climbing the ladder by the day and has no plans to stop.
