Recently, IShowSpeed’s fans urged the streamer to go to Japan and record his adventures. Sure enough, the streamer packed bags and took off to Japan. Moreover, his Japan vlog is finally out, and fans can see the streamer terrorizing the country with his horrendous shenanigans. However, since it’s really funny, no one’s complaining. Also, the streamer did good charitable work in his vlog, which involved handing cash to local pedestrians. However, he didn’t receive the expected reactions quite a few times.
Handing cash to local pedestrians and strangers has slowly developed into a streamers trend. Nowadays, a lot of streamers are doing this trend. It’s to either perform charity or test the generosity of their viewers and sometimes just to spread kindness. IShowSpeed did the same in his Japan vlog. However, the reactions he received from the people weren’t something the streamer was expecting.
Almost every Japanese citizen that he tried handing cash over to on his YouTube vlog rejected the offer. This stunned IShowSpeed, as it wasn’t something he’d thought people would do in the sight of cash. Of course, the cash he was offering was a 1000-yen bill, which, when compared to Dollars, amounts to only $10. However, it was still free money, and no one can say no to that, right?

Right at the start of the Japan vlog, fans saw Speed showcasing Japanese Yen bills in his hand. This was, of course, to hand the cash over to people walking by as an act of kindness and charity. However, most of the Japanese locals he tried to hand the cash over to denied his offer. This had Speed shocked, and he expressed how no one in the US would ever turn down an opportunity like this. It’s free cash, which is favored all around the globe.
And the very next moment, this hypothesis came true. Speed spotted another possible American man of black ethnicity and tried to hand him a 1,000-Yen bill. Furthermore, the man accepted the money, saying, “Appreciate it!” Speed claimed that the guy who accepted the money was an “American Brother.” Although not every Japanese local rejected Speed’s offer, a few of them did. This showed IShowSpeed the cultural difference between the US and Japan.

Speed did a lot of stuff on this vlog, from buying souvenirs to acting wildly like he always does and even disrespecting Naruto. Overall, the vlog was good, and fans had a good time watching their streamer in Japan and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
