“Guys, time to cancel the Prime Card,” KSI takes a dig at Tristan Tate after former European Kickboxing champion reveals he won’t watch Misfits Prime Card
Tristan Tate believes the Misfits Prime card has become a 'sue-off'
The boxing scene has been seeing a takeover by influencers for a while now. Although criticized by many, the influencer boxing scene has proven to bring more eyes toward boxing as a sport. An upcoming boxing event that speaks evidently to this is the Misfits PRIME boxing card. However, despite all the hype it has created, one person stands against it, and that is the Talisman Tate.
The boxing event will feature KSI vs. Tommy Fury as the co-main event, alongside Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis. The event has been long-awaited by many, as the controversies and disputes featured through the fighters have attracted attention from around the globe. Along with that, exciting fights like Slim vs. Salt Papi and DeenTheGreat The Great vs. Walid Sharks have everyone waiting for the event to get over with.
However, following the extremely personal disputes between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul, Logan Paul’s fiancee went ahead and took the dispute to legal action, filing to sue him for his controversial comments on her. This in turn had gotten many to label this event as a’sue-off’ rather than a boxing event. Tristan Tate, to be specific, was one of them.
KSI mocks Tristan Tate after Tate tweets on not watching the Misfits PRIME card
Following this legal dispute, Logan Paul has gotten a wave of backlash from influencers as a whole. Many believe it should not have to take place during the course of the fight, if at all. Tristan Tate had tweeted, “Now that the single most hyped and anticipated influencer boxing match in world history has turned into a’ sue-off’, I won’t be watching”.
KSI, as a result, has replied to Tristan’s tweet and wrote, “Guys, time to cancel the Prime Card. Tristan Tate isn’t watching”. However, many Tate fan pages quickly rose to their defense. This even included sparking polls on who would win in a boxing match between Tristan Tate and KSI. However, many, like Andrew Schulz, agree that the suing part of the dispute was not needed, as the fight game has no rules when it comes to dissing your opponent.
The most famous example is when Mike Tyson famously told Lennox Lewis before their matchup, in the quote, “I want to eat his children”. On the contrary, many do believe Dillon Danis had gone overboard with the tweets on Nina Agdal, especially considering she had just gotten engaged to the WWE superstar, Logan Paul.
