“I just figured it out this week”: Ludwig finally understands the secret of being a successful YouTuber

Ludwig Ahgren, who is referred to as the best signing of YouTube till date had talked about how he makes $25,000 USD per month through content creation and sponsorships but on another podcast, he revealed that he actually didn’t know how to stream on the red platform and figured it out just recently.
Highlighting the wrong steps taken by Twitch at ‘The Iced Coffee Hour’ podcast, Ludwig surprised everyone by stating, ”I discovered recently that I don’t know how to stream on YouTube, I just figured out this week, because the entire time during the past eight months, I’d been streaming as if I was on Twitch.”
Being a Twitch streamer for almost 3 years, the streamer is well aware how the streaming tactics work on the platform as he explained that on the purple platform, it is enough if you stream for long hours and for a particular game category, that keeps the audience hooked.
On the flip side, YouTube does not provide any particular game category to the streamers or their audience, which is why, in the word of Ludwig, it is crucial for a YouTuber to host ‘a stream that has a good watch time and has a sense of urgency’.

Ludwig has learnt the ‘streaming’ mistake he made on YouTube initially
Explaining further they key difference between Twitch and YouTube streaming, the 27-year-old YouTuber put emphasis on creating good content, if people wish to become a successful YouTuber. He explained, “the better the watch time, the more people will stay and the more it’ll get recommended which doesn’t exist on Twitch.”
The content creator’s avid viewers might recount that he has previously explained what makes YouTube a better platform. From larger monetary share to its content creators and ensuring revenue flow from YouTube shorts, the platform has taken the upper hand in streaming.

Although Ludwig does not deny that Twitch will still hold the market share for the upcoming 5 years, he fears that things might take a bad turn 5 years from now if Twitch doesn’t make alterations to their decisions, or support the small-time content creators, an aspect which was pointed out by the host of the podcast.

The YouTube audience for the podcast was extremely elated to see that Ludwig was their guest. Explaining how much thoughtful of a streamer he is, fans termed it a ‘godly’ crossover.
