Q. What are your thoughts on the Skyesports LAN?

I am glad that I could be a part of this event. After having a gap of years, we’re witnessing the first LAN which is planned incredibly well and I’m really thankful for Skyesports for this step up and showing up a good show for us.

Q.Moving on to your team, can you give us a brief idea of the current performance of your team, Asteria? Because from the past two qualifiers, we have seen kind of a downfall as compared to 2021.

Yes, that is true, we have been undergoing a lot of roster changes, our core players got some good opportunities and so we started chopping off our losses and even now we are undergoing roster changes and that is the sole reason our performance is not up to the notch but we will surely come back stronger with the best roster that we can get.

Q.Let’s move on to the game changer qualifiers, Do you think South Asia should get a separate qualifiers from which teams qualify to SEA seeing to the amount of raw talent that South Asia is producing?

That is actually a brilliant idea, competing with SEA teams, even before competing with SA teams, there’s actually no difference between the SA region and SEA region. I think we are more adaptive towards the SEA playstyle, and I think that’s the format we should always have. But yes, in order to encourage more SA players to come up and participate and more teams coming up and showing up in the big events like the VCT, yes the qualifiers for specifically South Asia region would help.

Q.Moving on, you guys are setting an example throughout the Valorant Industry right now, how does it feel to be a part of it all?

Well honestly, the only goal or the only perspective behind putting in so much efforts behind the team and behind the representation of the country, is solely to make the community proud and show that this is not about male esports or female esports, it’s just eSports basically and both genders can perform equally and with the same potential so that’s the whole point.

Q.Adding to that point itself, Valorant has made this completely inclusive throughout the generations because it’s more inclusive towards not just male or female participants, anyone can participate in any qualifier they want to.

Yes true, So I don’t remember having female-only tournaments being hosted for CS:GO that often but for Valorant, we have so many events that are coming up for females as well. So they are ensuring that even female participation is as equal as male and we can hope to have a full-fledged female team competing in the VCT and you know wherein the male teams are competing within themselves

Q.If we are to give the example of C9 White as well, they performed really well in the qualifiers after VCT in NA, does that give you motivation to perform at the highest level possible?

Yes it does and it actually build up a vision, a clear vision to know what are the requirements to get in that stage.

Q.Does Content creation help in building a brand of a player?

Yes it does, in order to showcase your skillset, you cannot always pop off in tournaments, you need to showcase your skills even on a bigger platform or on various platforms so streaming or creating content around your skillset helps a lot in terms of your own recognition as well as the kind of support that you get that helps you to stay motivated and be a better player any day.

Q.Can you give a brief statement to the budding generation of talent?

So if you’re passionate about esports, if you want to come up and be a content creator or a professional esports athlete, I think the key things you need to have are consistency, hardwork and dedication. If you keep all these things intact, you can anyday pop off in the gaming community or in any other community that you may want to pursue in.
