Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is currently the owner of the world’s most subscribed individual YouTube channel right now, after he was able to break the era of Felix ‘PewDiePie‘ Kjellberg who reigned at the platform for almost 12 years with the highest number of subscribers. But now that, MrBeast holds this title, he is starting to make some other moves.

The 24-year-old content creator had a ‘New Year’ indeed as he shared with his audience that his channel saw the turnout of the highest number of subscribers last year. Apart from the congratulatory messages in this post, one of the Twitter users wrote whether the YouTuber will be able to surpass T-Series.

Jimmy Donaldson promptly replied, “Easily. I’ll get revenge for poods”, implying that he will seek revenge for PewDiePie, as he had a tough time with the channel. At this moment, T-Series from India holds 232 million subscribers on the platform, becoming the most-subscribed channel on YouTube till date.

Compared to T-Series, MrBeast currently stands at the fourth place as the above two ranks are taken by CocoMelon and Sony Entertainment Television India which belong to the United States and India respectively.

Last year became a huge turning point for both MrBeast and PewDiePie, as the former was able to become the most subscribed individual YouTube channel and the latter slipped down from his long time reigning era at the platform. However, both of the talented YouTubers have always expressed a cordial relationship with each other.

Felix Kjellberg has expressed in several podcasts how happy he is to see MrBeast growing as a content creator, now that he has gone mostly inactive on the platform. On the flip side, they share some fun banters as well.

When the Kansas native had crossed 100 million subscribers on YouTube, he made a promise of deleting his YouTube channel. This promise was also made when he hits the close number of PewDiePie’s subscribers, now that both of the goals have been accomplished, PewDiePie hilariously claimed that Jimmy Donaldson should delete his channel now.

PewDiePie vs T-Series

The epic battle between the YouTuber and the record company was the most memorable thing to witness on the platform. During early 2018, T-Series was inching close to PewDiePie’s subscriber count, that led to a huge controversy as US and Indian YouTubers clashed with each other by making tracks that criticized each other.

YouTubers such as Jacksepticeye, Markiplier and even MrBeast stood up to support him but the rivalry ended with T-Series taking the upper hand by becoming the most subscribed as well as most viewed YouTube channel.

MrBeast has set his goal to beat T-Series but he has to surpass two others as he currently stands at 125 million subscribers on the platform. Although the growth rate his channel has been showing, it cannot be termed as ‘impossible’.
