This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Last of Us series. This HBO series-adapted video game has become one of the most favourite video games out there. To commemorate this Naughty Dog has released a new concept art on its official website regarding the upcoming Last of Us Multiplayer game. This was the right time for this teaser drop as the HBO Last of Us TV adaptation will be premiering on HBO in two weeks.

In this recent blog from Naughty Dog, the writer expressed gratitude and reflected back on the 10-year-long journey. Neil Duckmann, the co-president of Naughty Dog also revealed some insight and put out some impressive numbers.

“We are so proud to share that the entire The Last of Us franchise has sold more than 37 million copies globally as of December 2022, and is continuing to reach new and old players every day. To know that Joel, Ellie, and our whole cast of characters have been experienced and loved by so many of you drives the entire studio forward.”

They further added, “We’ll have some fun surprises for you along the way, but later this year we will begin to offer you some details on our ambitious The Last of Us multiplayer game. With a team led by Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati, and Anthony Newman, the project is shaping up to be a fresh, new experience from our studio, but one rooted in Naughty Dog’s passion for delivering incredible stories, characters, and gameplay.”

Looking at the teaser it is clear that the production is not at all compromising on the graphics. There have been several rumours regarding the game such as the battle royal feature and leaks which claim that the game will feature a brand new cast of characters and the new storyline will be very unique.

The most recent blog also mentions that the production is looking into bringing After The Last of Us part 1 to PC as early as possible. “After The Last of Us Part I’s successful launch on PlayStation 5 last year, we can’t wait to bring you the PC version on March 3! We’ll have more information on the PC version’s features and specs ahead of its launch.”

This team for the Last of Us Multiplayer game is being led by Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati and Anthony Newman. They have promised to give the community many surprises this year. The whole community is looking forward to this new Last of Us Multiplayer game which is expected to be released by the end of this year.
