Call of Duty is no stranger when it comes to adding famous personalities as playable operators in the game, and this time they are going to introduce two-time NBA champion and thirteen-time NBA all-star Kevin Durant. Previously, Activision had added players like Neymar and Lionel Messi to Call of Duty.

The legend of the Pheonix Sun NBA team will arrive in the new Season 3 Reloaded of MW2 and Warzone 2. With a vast and successful career behind him, Durant will have another feather in his long line of achievements.

In the official Season 3 Reloaded update of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the description of Kevin Durant’s bundle reads: “In addition to his operator, the bundle includes two weapon blueprints that reference his iconic nicknames: the “Reap This” AR Blueprint and the “Easy Money” Sniper Blueprint.” “Both blueprints are built for the all-around operator, just like how KD built himself up to be deadly all over the hardwood.”

The Kevin Durant bundle in Season 3 reloaded will include:

  • The Kevin Durant Operator skin.
  • A finishing move called “Deadly from Downtown”.
  • A Sniper Rifle Blueprint “Easy Money”  and an Assault Rifle Blueprint “Reap This.”
  • A new loading screen “Ankle-Breaker”
  • A new weapon Charm “B-Ball”
  • Custom Animated Emblem “KD Baller” 
  • A “Hoops” sticker

When is the new bundle going to be available and how much will it cost?

According to the official Twitter page for Call of Duty, players will get a chance to play as Kevin Durant starting May 10th, 2023, at 10 a.m. PT. The NBA legend will have his own operator bundle.

So far, there has been no confirmation on how much the Kevin Durant bundle would cost. However, if you take an educated guess by comparing it to previous similar bundles like the Shredder, Neymar, and Messi, which cost around 2400 COD points, the price could be similar.
