The professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA), LeBron James, has now been revealed by esports organization Cloud9 as their latest member.  “King James” is now a part of the Cloud9 VALORANT squad.

LeBron is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in discussions about the best basketball player of all time. James is regarded as one of the all-time greats in the sport. Now, he joins C9VAL in the esports industry.

In addition to being named the All-Star 19 times, selected in the All-NBA Team 18 times (including 13 First Team selections), the All-Defensive Team six times, and winning the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award runner-up twice in his career. LeBron has also received numerous other honors.

LeBron James’ son earlier joined the professional esports team FaZe Clan, where he mainly streams Call of Duty and Fortnite content under the handle “FaZe Bronny.” And now, his father is set to follow in his footsteps by joining the Cloud9 VALORANT team.

In VALORANT, Cloud9, a North American esports organization, originally fielded a South Korean team in addition to its current North American roster. Also, they include individuals and groups from Fortnite, Wild Rift, Super Smash Bros. Melee, League of Legends, Halo, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Hearthstone. In the Overwatch League, Cloud9 also oversees the London Spitfire side in the Overwatch League.
