New 8v8 TDM map in BGMI
A new TDM map in BGMI is arriving soon for the players in the upcoming update of the game which is scheduled to be rolled out in the month of January. Even though, Krafton hasn’t made it official, data miners and YouTubers have tried out the beta version and have also given some details regarding the map.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is dubbed as the Indian version of PUBG Mobile which offers a variety of map options to the players. Maps are available in different game play modes such as classic matches which helps the players to increase their tier points, on the other hand, Arcade, Team Deathmatch (TDM) and EvoGround are meant merely for the practise of the players. After Hangar, a new TDM map in BGMI ‘Santorini’ is making its way.
New TDM map in BGMI/PUBG Mobile ‘Santorini’ to drop soon!
The beta version of PUBG Mobile 1.8 update has already hit the servers and several players have been able to get their hands on the unfinished version. Several new features have been unveiled including a new Spiderman mode that will be available in all the versions of PUBG Mobile including BGMI. Apart from that, a new TDM map in BGMI named Santorini will also be seen.

The idea of the Santorini map is taken from the buildings and streets of Greece which is evident from the graphics revealed by YouTubers. Unlike the usual 4v4 TDM maps, Santorini will feature a total of 16 players, 8 on each side. The mini map of Santorini looks quite large, however, only few locations are accessible.
Another change notice in this new map is that the team taking 80 finishes will be able to claim victory in the TDM match. The map has different locations for the players, therefore, it will be a lot more easy to aim at the enemies and take cover simultaneously. This is not the only change coming in the 1.8 update, Krafton had recently announced a crossover of the battle royale game with Spiderman. The latest update that will apparently release in the month of January will bring an all new Spiderman mode. Players can avail special Spiderman features in classic maps.
