Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has not been streaming that frequently which she did during the previous years. However, it is hardly surprising as the streamer made it clear after a brief hiatus, that she is going to prioritize her own health and personal life in 2023 and beyond.

On the flip side, she has been dropping some VLOGs on YouTube to update fans on her whereabouts. Her recent VLOG, ‘I just need to talk’, is a blend of an IRL stream as well as her recent thoughts on living alone. Poki explained that lately she hasn’t been herself and has been feeling quite frustrated and overwhelmed.

She then explained the drawbacks of living alone, “it’s difficult because there is no one to pull you out”. Continuing further, Pokimane stated as she doesn’t live with her family, it gets tough when ‘you need family’. Additionally, she stated that most of her friends live half an hour away from her, which doesn’t make hanging out every now and then possible.

The Canadian-Moroccan internet personality believes that sometimes one requires people who can scoop them out of the loop. This, according to her, can be a way to prevent loneliness. She later stated that one of the upsides of living alone is that no one is there to dampen your mood.

During the latter part of her VLOG, the Twitch star stated that sometimes people might feel unable to meet the standards of the outside world Poki explained that this happens mostly due to social media, as you see people doing a lot with their lives.

Later, she told her fans, “loneliness can come about seemingly randomly or caused by very small things.” However, to prevent this, Poki believes that they can be countered with very small things such as a text conversation with someone or a quick call.

These things can make one feel that they are not actually lonely. Furthermore, the content creator explained that even though she is in a transitional exploratory phase of her life, it can be quite exciting as well.

Fan reactions

Pokimane’s VLOG got a positive response from her fans. Most of the YouTube comments suggest she takes good care of herself and never thinks about being lonely.
