Pokimane’s streaming career is filled with ups and downs. She has dealt with a lot of trolls on the internet as sometimes, she herself takes the charge to hit back at the trolls. However, most of the time she has people who keep her away from social media negativity.

During her January 31st livestream, Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys revealed one of her biggest secrets, after she read a comment on her chat. The comment stated that the user’s mute list has been expanding. Reading this, Poki stated, “One of my biggest secrets, I’m gonna reveal right now.”

The Twitch star further explained that she doesn’t think she has revealed this before. “You say your mute list is expanding okay,” she addressed the user while adding, “My block list expands too”. On the flip side, Pokimane stated that she is not the one who is blocking those users.

“Like if people say some weird sh*t in my replies, like, on God, 90% of the time I don’t see it”, she added that she has some people on her account that are blocking people for her. Pokimane later explained that people will get excited that she has blocked them, but the reality is different.

Female streamers on social media comparatively deal a lot of negativity on the internet. The trolls are either addressed towards their gameplay or their make up. In fact, Pokimane not wearing make up for a stream took the community by storm.

She however dealt with it in an effective way, as she posted some of her ‘without make up’ pictures on Twitter to clap back at the trolls. Several female internet personalities came in support of her, but Poki has continued to face online hatred.

During one of her broadcasts, a Twitch viewer trolled her for wearing too much make up. Once again, she kept her calm and handled the situation in a strategic way. Surprisingly, she turned the mockery towards the person who trolled her.

Unfortunately, Pokimane’s biggest secret has not met well with her audience. YouTuber Kavos recently shared his opinion on Poki’s confession in a YouTube video, where a lot of users have provided their reactions.

One of the user highlighted the narcissism of the streamer as she is not able to protect herself. On the other hand, some other fans told that it is the job of moderators to keep these prominent personalities out of the negativity and troll on the internet.
