Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is an influencer herself, but she doesn’t hesitate to reveal the unknown sides of an influencer. In her recent TikTok video, she shared some secrets with her fans that an influencer doesn’t want people to know.

She wrote, “deinfluencing influencers’ in her video as the caption which has received more than 23K reactions. Poki initially gave a preface to her video stating that she is a content creator, but she believes it is one of the most ‘glamorized’ things to exist.

The Canadian internet personality continued to say, “it’s kinda funny to share the behind-the-scenes secrets”. Furthermore, she pointed out some aspects often hidden from the audience.

Pokimane exposes fake relationships and smart business moves of influencers

The Twitch streamer started spilling out the beans one by one. Initially, she explained how content creators go to the extent of faking relationships with each other. “I think it’s common with YouTubers vs any other platforms,” she added that while these might not be common but she knows that they do exist.

Poki stated that if you ever find out that a content creator has cheated on someone, “they were never really together”. Stating the second point, she talked about the influencers and models in OnlyFans. She was hesitant to reveal this but she admitted that this was a ‘smart business’ move.

She stated that the girls who make the highest money on the platform, have people who message their subscribers for them. “Obviously it is a time saver and allows them to do their jobs without having to do the tedious parts,” she added. Later she hilariously noted that if someone thinks that they are messaging a girl on this platform, it is probably her assistant replying to them.

Last but not least, Pokimane revealed that most people go after brands once influencers wear them. However, in reality, the influencers are mostly wearing rented or borrowed clothes that need to be returned to the brand for which they are promoting.

She concluded the video by saying that sometimes people only wear fakes like ‘dupes’. Poki ensured that the audience does not get deceived by the fake luxury clothing that the influencers wear. As a consequence, she decided to bring the cat out of the bag regarding influencers.

Her video comes shortly after Gucci decided to make her their brand promoter. Poki’s fans were quite impressed with the new look as her photograph received an immense amount of appreciation.
